Looking at recent unemployment numbers, projections of job losses into the future, and being personally broke, all while watching the shocking stupidity of people who - smugly - say things like "this is not a stimulus bill. This is a spending bill" while also remembering that non-existant money has fueled our lIves for at least the last ten years - and now since that hasn't worked out we need to government to spend it's non-existant money to unclusterfuck this country, I'm beginning to understand why Nero fiddled while Rome burned. What the fuck else was he supposed to do? The fire wasn't going out anyways.
