We Got More .45's and 9's Than a Deck of Cards

 It’s possible, of course, that the vast majority of competent scientists are all part of a vast conspiracy to defraud the public into believing that human activity is causing the planet to warm. But it’s hard to see why that would happen. It is, however, easy to see why polluting industries and their hirelings in the think tank world would want to pretend that this is what’s happening.

I've long thought one of the most effective ways to bluff - or, scam - is to jump the gun and accuse your opponent of exactly that which you are guilty of.  In the case of global-warming liars, this includes the charge that global-warming hysteria is the greatest scam ever perpetrated on mankind and that Al Gore is some kind of super-genius-villian, capable of orchestrating a worldwide scam in which all nations unwittingly and unnecessarily kill their own GDP, despite the fact that he couldn't even beat the didn't-quit-drinkin'-til-he-was-40 unremarkable son of a one-term President.  The mere existence of the global-warming 'debate'
just goes to show that facts really are tertiary to much of American politics.
